Job Title: Sales and Business Development Manager B2G

Description:

Mobilisights, a Data Business Unit of Stellantis, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our data products and services in the Business for Government/Public Sector (B2G) area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development plan to open new markets and segments for our data as a service (DaaS) business.
  • Evaluate new target markets, understanding their market conditions, competitive landscape, and product-market fit.
  • Quantify business opportunities and work with product teams to establish a business case for entering new market segments.
  • Foster strong relationships with public authorities and their ecosystems of technical consultancies, solution providers, and VARs.
  • Identify relevant tenders and projects, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Work with product and solutions teams to complete proof-of-concepts and establish reference accounts in new market segments.
  • Train sales teams to capture new markets and work with product/marketing to create market entry/capture strategies and build collateral, GTM messaging, sales playbooks, and pitches.

Requirements:

  • 0-1 mindset and a track record of developing new markets, industries, partnerships, and channels to expand serviceable market for products and services.
  • Blue-sky thinking to find new applications for existing product capabilities.
  • Ability to spot emerging market trends, gauge key value proposition, and influence product roadmaps to capture them.
  • Experience with governmental/federal/EU leads project and formal RFQ/tendering process.
  • Solid understanding of B2G way of working, legal/policy frameworks like GDPR/CCPA, and an unwavering commitment to data protection and privacy.
  • Consultative selling skills and experience working closely with early adopter customers to build solutions that scale for an entire market segment.
  • Broad understanding of B2B data ecosystem and business models, with experience taking 'data as a service/product' to market.
  • Top-notch communication and presentation skills, with an ability to establish strategic business relationships and influence decision makers at customer companies.
  • Strong professional network in the region across public and private sectors, with experience in data-centric verticals such as insurance, mobility, telematics, fleets, advertising, and navigation.
  • Solid network of professionals and previous partners within the B2G space.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and readiness to take on challenges that come along with building a new business.
  • 7+ years of business development or related experience in data, technology, or related fields.
  • Experience working with pan-regional customer base.
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus.
