**Job Summary**
Cummins Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Customer Solutions Specialist to join our team in Nantes or Lyon, France. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth through technical expertise and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Liaison: Serve as the primary technical liaison between OEMs and Cummins, providing product data, installation requirements, and managing product specifications to ensure seamless integration and customer satisfaction.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve integration and installation issues with guidance, ensuring successful product implementation on customer vehicles and maintaining high-quality decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Support and enhance processes like Installation Quality Assurance and OEM integration to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Product Integration: Make informed decisions on product selection, design, and integration that optimize OEM machine performance and ensure quality.
- Customer Relationships: Develop strong working relationships with customer technical counterparts, translating their needs into functional product requirements and driving business growth.
- Advocacy: Act as a customer advocate within Cummins during new product development, design reviews, and product change requests to ensure customer needs are met.
- Installation Validation: Ensure products are applied and installed correctly, validating prototype performance to meet Cummins standards.
- Independent Execution: Independently execute established processes while continually developing product knowledge and contributing to team goals.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: A college, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an appropriate STEM field is required. Relevant experience working in a technical discipline area is preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills: Expertise in integrating and optimizing machine systems using Cummins tools and best practices, as well as strong problem-solving skills and effective communication and collaboration across teams.
