About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Host/Hostess to join our team at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, handling guest arrivals and departures, and ensuring a seamless and personalized experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Manage guest arrivals and departures, including check-in and check-out procedures, room assignments, and key card distribution
- Process guest payments and handle cash and credit transactions
- Upsell and promote hotel services and amenities to guests, such as dining, spa, and recreational activities
- Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and concierge, to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements:
- Fluent French language skills, with a strong understanding of local culture and customs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Proven experience in a front desk or customer service role, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
