Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Stress Airframe Contract Responsible to join our team in Marignane, France.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on the serial life of the Super Puma, involving new contracts with various customer missions, customization, and equipment installation.

You will be part of an integrated team of 40 people with a global view on helicopter structural design and stress analysis.

The team spirit and collaborative work are key behaviors in our department, where serial activities are the main focus, enriched by innovation and overhaul/maintenance of 1st generation aircrafts.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage the activity, workload, and resources, including subcontractors, for a stress volume of 5000 hours per year.
  • Work with interfaces: Project teams, Airworthiness, Design, Material, and Tests.
  • Discover the main structural components of a helicopter, including primary and secondary structures, and major equipment.
  • Perform stress activities, including load definition, analytical and numerical calculations, and follow-up of mechanical tests.
Your Profile:
  • Educated to 5 years' degree level in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in engineering.
  • Static structural analysis composite & metallic.
  • Verify design, check of drawing, pre-sizing, architecture choice.
  • Failure analysis, fatigue evaluation, spectrum definition.
  • Competences in softwares like Nastran, Hypermesh, Samcef.
  • Rigorous, Team spirit, continuous improvement, service mindness.
  • Language Skills: Advanced level of French and English.
