Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled Stress Airframe Contract Responsible to join our team in Marignane, France.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on the development of new Super Puma contracts, managing the activity, workload, and resources, including subcontractors, for a stress volume of 5000 hours per year.

You will work closely with project teams, airworthiness, design, material, and tests to ensure the successful delivery of our helicopters with high customer satisfaction.

About the Role:

As a Stress Airframe Contract Responsible, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the activity, workload, and resources for a stress volume of 5000 hours per year
  • Working with project teams, airworthiness, design, material, and tests to ensure successful delivery
  • Defining loads, analytical and numerical calculations, and follow-up of mechanical tests on ground and in flight
  • Ensuring compliance with airworthiness rules and regulations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to 5 years' degree level in mechanical engineering or related discipline
  • At least five years of experience in engineering
  • Static structural analysis composite & metallic
  • Verify design, check of drawing, pre-sizing, architecture choice (autonomous)
  • Failure analysis, fatigue evaluation, spectrum definition (basic level)
  • Competences in softwares like Nastran, Hypermesh, Samcef, would be appreciated
  • Rigorous, Team spirit, continuous improvement, service mindness
  • Language Skills: Advanced level of French and English
