We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Location Lead to join our team at Colt Technology Services. As a key member of our Delivery Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a multi-disciplinary technical and design management team in France, delivering multiple Hyperscale data centre projects.
As a Technical Delivery Specialist, you will be accountable for ensuring the technical delivery of these projects, adhering to Colt's design standards and requirements. You will work closely with our Regional Engineering Manager, Project Managers, and other design engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design consultants appointments and processes, as well as experience in delivery of mission critical engineering, built environment design processes, and MEP strategies and technologies. You will also have experience working in France, including planning and development processes, and a deep understanding of the digital environment, including BIM and levels of development in design and technology.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary technical and design management team in France
- Ensure technical delivery of multiple Hyperscale data centre projects
- Work closely with Regional Engineering Manager, Project Managers, and design engineers to ensure successful project delivery
- Manage design consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with Colt's design standards and requirements
- Develop and implement commercial approaches to drive cost-effective solutions and maximize speed to market
- Excellent people management skills and ability to motivate and build trust amongst participants and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of design consultants appointments and processes
- Experience in delivery of mission critical engineering, built environment design processes, and MEP strategies and technologies
- Experience working in France, including planning and development processes
- Deep understanding of the digital environment, including BIM and levels of development in design and technology
