About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Lead to join our Digital & Business Factory team at Accor. As a Product Design Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design of our loyalty and partnership products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of user experience and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear direction to your team, aligning with the vision, business objectives, and user needs to guide the team in creating coherent and engaging user experiences.
- Manage and animate a team of product designers, assisting in roadmap management, mentoring team members, promoting a collaborative work environment, and stimulating innovation within the team.
- Work closely with Design and Product teams to align the product vision, co-organize delivery cycles, and achieve team goals. Facilitate communication with departments such as Product, Tech, and Marketing to ensure a common understanding of Design objectives and maintain excellence in user experience.
- Supervise and improve the Design process, from Discovery to Delivery. Continue to improve our processes and define best Design practices with other Leads and the HOD.
- Work on Design strategy with the HoD, Lead product designers, and Design Ops. Promote Design culture within Accor, foster innovation and creativity within your scope.
Requirements
- Graduate of a leading Engineering or Generalist Business School, with a focus on computer science or a specialized Master's degree in Design.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders from various departments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present analysis results clearly and concisely.
- Master user experience design both strategically and operationally and be able to explain it to both expert and novice stakeholders.
- Proficiency in methodology and tools related to Product Design.
- Minimum of 4 years of successful experience in a similar position combining expertise in Product Design and management.
- Experience in B2C Consumer Goods and e-commerce is a plus.
- Thorough and organized, you can manage and prioritize team work.
- Empathy, active listening, and teaching are key for you.
- At least one previous experience as a Lead Product Designer in a product-focused organization.
- Fluent in English (all presentations conducted in English).
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to simplify complex subjects.
- Focused on Product Design.
