CLOUD TEMPLE is seeking a highly skilled Defensive Cyber Security Engineer to join its Security Operations Centre (SOC) team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our information systems through rigorous and proactive management of security incidents, as well as the continuous improvement of security processes.
Key Responsibilities- Handling Security Alerts and Incidents: Conduct in-depth investigations into alerts raised by our security information and event management (SIEM) tools, manage reported incidents, and communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.
- Ticket Management: Manage tickets in compliance with established SLAs to guarantee fast and efficient resolution.
- Adaptation of Detection Rules: Adapt detection rules to improve the responsiveness and effectiveness of our SOC in the face of new threats.
- Technology Watch: Monitor new technologies and trends in cybersecurity to ensure our SOC remains at the cutting edge of innovation.
- Process Improvement: Improve processes to increase the operational efficiency of the SOC.
- Integration of New Collection Sources: Integrate new collection sources to enhance detection capacity.
- Integration of New Customers: Integrate new customers who have subscribed to the SOC service.
- Automation: Automate enrichment and incident response to maximise the efficiency and responsiveness of the SOC.
- Education: Graduate of an engineering school or equivalent (5 years' higher education).
- Experience: At least 3 years in systems and network engineering, ideally 1 year in a SOC.
- Technical Knowledge: Defensive security, SIEM, Microsoft Sentinel, Graylog, and appreciated certifications such as Microsoft SC-200.
- Language Skills: English: full professional capability.
