Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF). The successful candidate will participate in the operation of our beamline, contribute to ongoing research programs, and develop their own research projects.

About the Role

  • Conduct X-ray analysis and experiments using our state-of-the-art facilities
  • Collaborate with international researchers to advance scientific knowledge and address societal challenges
  • Develop and implement new experimental techniques and methods
  • Contribute to the upgrade and maintenance of our experimental end-stations
  • Participate in the development of new research projects and proposals

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in physics, biology, chemistry, or a related field
  • Strong background in X-ray analysis and data analysis
  • Previous experience on a synchrotron facility is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or MATLAB
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
