Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Director of Complete Powertrain, you will oversee and propel the development of comprehensive products for the Medium Duty Platform, including both conventional and electric axles across the entire Volvo Trucks range.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing engineering and cross-functional initiatives related to Medium Duty engines and transmissions, as well as conventional and electric axles.
  • Ensuring the quality and enhancement of serial products under your purview.
  • Developing and managing Verification & Validation plans for all complete products.
  • Driving the optimization of complete products through the creation of efficient software and design solutions.
  • Advancing the development of data as a product and overall GSP simulation.
  • Managing essential partnerships.
  • Innovating by formulating new methodologies and approaches to enhance performance, quality, and development timelines.
  • Leading teams with a focus on sustainable objectives, including CO2 reduction and the use of recycled and sustainable components.
  • Implementing a workforce plan to cultivate a high-performing team aligned with technological advancements.
  • Fostering an attractive and collaborative work environment.
