We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team at Bethune Elementary. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure academic success.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes social-emotional growth.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments, best practices, and educational technologies to enhance teaching methods and student outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Teaching Certification.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational trends and research.
This is a full-time position, working 190 days per year, with a minimum of 36 hours and 40 minutes per week. Compensation and benefits are provided by the Phoenix Elementary School District #1.
