Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer to support our customers with current and future installed tools at customer site.

We will consider new graduates provided they demonstrate a strong hands-on competence and a desire to succeed.

YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Successful applicants will be formally trained at one of our award-winning training centers in California, USA or, Singapore or Taiwan.
  2. Domestic and international travel is required on a regular basis.
  3. Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.
  4. Be the face of our company, ensuring customer satisfaction with our service and maintaining the operational quality of system equipment.
  5. Coordinates actions with customers to minimize down time.
  6. Provides assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  1. Certified engineer or degree from advanced technical school or ~3 years industry working experience.
  2. Ability to understand and tackle problems in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or electro-optical systems.
  3. Experience working on electronic systems within semiconductor, medical devices, defense, aerospace, or aviation industry is a plus.
  4. Outstanding interpersonal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proven track record of engaging empathetically with customers.
  6. Driven to be hands-on and passionate about learning new things.
  7. Proactive communication that facilitates seamless collaboration.
  8. Fluent in English and French is a must.
  9. Full driver's license.
