About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with expertise in communication and project management. As a Strategic Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting key outreach initiatives, managing media and digital campaigns, and developing strategic communication objectives.
You will work closely with our team to create engaging content, including articles, social media posts, and videos, in accordance with our communications strategy. Your skills will also be utilized in coordinating press releases, drafting reports, and overseeing multimedia content production.
This is a six-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funding.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a master's degree in Communications, Media Studies, or a related field. Significant professional experience in coordinating media campaigns, drafting press releases, and managing multi-language content is essential.
You should also possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in digital content management systems, social media platforms, and podcast and video production tools. Excellent written and editing skills in English are required, with additional proficiency in French or other UN languages being an asset.
