Market Surveillance Compliance Officer

Job Description
You will be part of the Surveillance team as a Compliance Officer Market Surveillance. This team is responsible for conducting investigations and analyzing transactions to detect possible attempts at market manipulation or insider trading.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the optimization of the operational system for the generation, processing, escalation and closure of alerts concerning market monitoring, related to potential market abuse and current regulations (in conjunction with the Porto monitoring team, other regional experts and IT teams);
- Investigating and reviewing market integrity alerts, in collaboration with the Global Markets Advisory Monitoring and Compliance team;
- Leading the training and development (in collaboration with local management) of the Monitoring Analyst (based in Porto);
- Maintaining Market abuse risk assessment (Cartographie des risques relatifs à l'intégrité des marchés) to prioritize surveillance actions and surveillance system and policy developments.
As a Market Surveillance Compliance Officer, you will participate in optimizing the functioning of the market surveillance operational system to detect potential breaches.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Higher education, you have a proven experience on a similar position.
You are familiar with:
Assessment of alerts from monitoring systems;
Data analysis and management through market software packages;
Market products belonging to different asset classes;
Management of multi-departmental and multi-regional projects.
You have an excellent relationship, a very good listening ability, you are:
Collaborative and used to working with global stakeholders;
Motivated by sharing expertise and managing transformation projects;
Able to handle complex situations and identify risks of non-compliance.
You master English with a C1 level.
