Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic AES to join our team at GAPAS. As an AES, you will work closely with our clients and their families to provide educational and social support, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide educational and social support to individuals with disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each client
- Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive support to clients
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and research in the field
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as special education or social work
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in an educational or social services setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
