About the Role

  • We're looking for a Circular Economy Expert to support our business development and innovation efforts in the field of circular economy.
  • As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our business development team to identify new opportunities and develop innovative solutions to support our customers.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Understanding new technologies and potential improvements
    • Building and managing a network of universities and identifying key competencies necessary for projects
    • Managing lab and industrial trials
    • Supporting the business development team technically in discussions with potential customers and a network of startups
    • Project management, including prioritization, dashboard tracking, problem-solving, milestones, monitoring costs, CAPEX, and resources
  • We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode.

About You

  • You have a PhD in construction inorganic materials for construction or materials for the environment or equivalent.
  • You have relevant work experience in circularity research and technology, with knowledge in cement, construction block materials, and foaming agents being a strong plus.
  • You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex projects and discuss with customers.
  • You are fluent in English and French, with other languages being a plus.
  • You have a leadership and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively and innovate.
  • You are willing to travel nationally and internationally up to 20% of the time.
  • You are based in France, preferably in Dombasle near Nancy or Aubervilliers.
