Key Responsibilities- Cost Planning and Budgeting: Prepare budget estimates, cost plans, and client reports to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects.
- Contract Administration: Support evaluation of tenders, contractor selection, and contract documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Cost Control and Reporting: Prepare valuations, forecasts, cost reports, and attend project meetings to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects.
- Bill of Quantities and Schedules: Prepare bills of quantities, schedules of rates, or other methods of work evaluation to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all work outputs are delivered in an accurate and timely manner to a high standard of quality, and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Practice, particularly Health and Safety and Quality Assurance.
- Client Communication: Provide services in compliance with the client's corporate governance procedures where applicable, and ensure that all client correspondence is filed in accordance with requirements.
- Education: Ideally degree qualified in construction, cost management, engineering, quantity surveying, or other RICS accredited degree.
- Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills with both client and staff, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and French.
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills, sound judgement, and an aptitude for forward planning.
- Technical Skills: Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, with basic pre and post contract technical cost management skills.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of similar experience in a similar role, with a self-initiated and independent working style, high level of commitment, and ability to work in a team.
- Organisational Skills: Organisational talent with a fast, precise, and structured way of working, with very good and experienced handling of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Dynamic Team: A dynamic, motivated, and international team in a constantly growing company.
- Flexibility: Flexibility through home office/hybrid work, with a great working atmosphere in a supportive team that is characterized by flat hierarchies.
