Cost Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join our team at Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd. As a key member of our cost management team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities- Support Business Unit Directors in achieving business objectives.
- Deliver exceptional cost management services, ensuring that deliverables meet customer requirements.
- Prepare and present cost estimates and option studies.
- Develop and implement cost planning strategies.
- Conduct cost-in-use studies to analyze building maintenance costs.
- Advise on and implement procurement strategies.
- Prepare tender documentation and manage the tender process.
- Prepare bids for services.
- Evaluate and report on tenders.
- Value completed work and arrange for payments.
- Settle final accounts.
- Provide technical advice on legal and contractual issues.
- Administer contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
- Produce and present reports to customers.
- Advise Directors promptly of any issues that may arise.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Previous cost management experience in major real estate related construction projects.
- Knowledge of French construction regulation.
- Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies.
- Knowledge of contractual forms of engineering missions.
- Understanding of national legislation impacting on building contracts.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Methodical approach to work.
- Organisational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, finance, and numeracy management skills.
- Sound ICT skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Professional level of English and French.
