We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team at Carrier, a leading provider of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. As an EHS Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction, planning, and oversight of EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with applicable local laws and regulations and Corporate standards across the France CHVAC entities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of EHS plans and strategies for France, aligned with the Commercial HVAC business unit strategic direction and the France Service and Sales Organizations.
- Collaborate with France senior management and other functions to achieve optimal EHS performance.
- Coach management teams to develop a deep understanding of EHS responsibilities and the business benefits of a robust EHS program.
- Develop and deploy EHSOS Operational Controls, create additional policies and practices, and monitor the development and implementation of EH&S programs within the unit.
- Oversee EHS investigations into workplace incidents to uncover root causes, identify immediate and preventative actions, and capture "lessons learned".
- Bachelor's Degree in EHS, Engineering, or a relevant scientific/technical area.
- Minimum of 10 years progressive work experience gained working with organizations in construction or field-based and manufacturing operations.
- Regulatory knowledge including safety, environmental, and other regulatory standards applicable to building services industries and construction.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, motivate, and lead teams, drive change, and interact cross-functionally.
