As a prospective Lead Real Estate Asset Strategist, you will join a dedicated team focused on managing and enhancing a substantial office portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Real Estate Asset Strategist will play a pivotal role in overseeing a significant office portfolio, acting as a crucial liaison between Property Managers and Investors.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing asset strategies aligned with investor objectives, including rental optimization, selective divestitures, and portfolio expansion through strategic acquisitions.
  • Executing ESG initiatives in accordance with internal guidelines to enhance the sustainability of each asset.
  • Crafting annual business plans with actionable strategies and financial models (DCF), securing approvals from investors or the Investment Committee, and ensuring the effective execution of these plans.
  • Preparing investment proposals for acquisitions through forward sales and presenting them to the Investment Committee.
  • Overseeing and refining the asset budget (revenues, operating expenses, and capital expenditures) in collaboration with property managers or asset operators.
  • Monitoring forward sales processes, including pre-leasing phases and project completions.
  • Conducting external valuations and tracking asset performance indicators to support investor reporting.
  • Managing property managers and all external service providers associated with the assets.
  • Supervising property operations, addressing tenancy matters, claims, and potential legal disputes, while negotiating leases and renewals.
  • Collecting and analyzing relevant asset-level data (technical, legal, tax, and commercial) to ensure compliance and liquidity.
  • Proposing innovative product developments or asset repositioning strategies, including refurbishment or development projects in coordination with internal and external experts.
  • Coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders, representing the investor in co-ownership matters.
  • Preparing and managing asset disposals (data rooms, valuations, RFPs, etc.).
  • Supporting investment underwriting processes led by the Acquisitions team and onboarding new assets.

Education/Qualifications

A degree in business or real estate is preferred.

Experience
  • A proven history in real estate with 10 to 15 years of experience in asset and investment management or property companies.
  • Specialized knowledge of the office sector in Paris and the Greater Paris area.
  • Familiarity with the French office market and its key players.
  • Strong understanding of real estate investment legislation and financial methodologies.
