Lead Real Estate Asset Strategist (x,f,m)

Our teams leverage this global strength while maintaining a significant local presence in the real assets investment sector.

As a prospective Lead Real Estate Asset Strategist, you will join a dedicated team focused on the management and enhancement of a substantial office portfolio.

Your Role

In this pivotal position, you will play an essential role in managing a large office portfolio, collaborating closely with both Property Managers and Investors.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Formulating asset strategies aligned with investor objectives, including rental enhancements, selective disposals, and portfolio expansion through new acquisitions.
  • Executing ESG initiatives in accordance with internal guidelines to promote the decarbonization of each asset.
  • Developing annual business plans with actionable strategies and financial models (DCF), securing approval from investors or the Investment Committee, and overseeing the execution of these plans.
  • Crafting investment memorandums for acquisitions via forward sales and presenting them to the Investment Committee.
  • Preparing, optimizing, and monitoring the asset budget (revenues, operating expenses, and capital expenditures) in collaboration with property managers or asset operators.
  • Overseeing forward sales and managing the associated pre-leasing phases and deliveries.
  • Reviewing external valuations.
  • Tracking asset KPIs and contributing to investor reporting.
  • Managing property managers and all external service providers related to the assets.
  • Supervising property management, addressing tenancy issues, claims, and potential legal disputes with legal advisors, negotiating leases and renewals.
  • Collecting and analyzing all pertinent data/documentation at the asset level (technical, legal, tax, and commercial) to ensure legal compliance and asset liquidity.
  • Proposing relevant product developments or asset repositioning, managing refurbishment or development projects in coordination with internal and/or external experts. Implementing ESG action plans.
  • Coordinating with all internal and external stakeholders, representing the investor in co-ownership matters.
  • Preparing and managing asset disposals (data room, valuation, RFP, etc.).
  • Supporting investment underwriting processes led by the Acquisitions team and facilitating the onboarding of new assets.
Your Profile

Education/Qualifications

A degree in business or real estate is required.

Experience
  • A proven history in real estate, with 10 to 15 years of experience in asset and investment management or within a property company.
  • Specialized knowledge of the office sector in Paris and the Greater Paris area.
  • Strong familiarity with the French office market and its key players.
  • Comprehensive understanding of real estate investment legislation and financial techniques.
