Position Summary

The role of the Revenue Optimization Manager is crucial in enhancing the financial performance of our hotel. This position involves working closely with the Sales and Revenue Manager to apply effective revenue management techniques that align with the hotel's strategic objectives and market demands.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of revenue management strategies to maximize profitability in accordance with the hotel’s brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage group inquiries from initial engagement through to client reception.
  • Contribute to achieving revenue goals and expanding business contracts through proactive outreach.
  • Support the reservations team as required to ensure seamless operations.

Data Management:

  • Ensure effective communication of reservation quality standards to the relevant teams.
  • Regularly verify data integrity and maintain the events database.

Performance Analysis:

  • Evaluate hotel performance metrics using Opera for informed decision-making.
  • Assess contract performance to guide re-negotiation efforts.

Strategic Recommendations:

  • Provide insights for strategic adjustments based on customer trends and behaviors.

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Sales & Revenue Manager and the Hotel Director.

Commercial Oversight:

  • Oversee a Commercial & Revenue Management intern and the reservations department.
  • Administer all hotel contracts and propose innovative deals.

Revenue Management:

  • Execute the hotel’s revenue strategy effectively.
  • Engage in budget planning based on thorough analysis.
  • Deliver dynamic forecasts and implement recommendations from distribution tools.
  • Enhance distribution channels and analyze monthly performance results.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A dynamic approach with a keen attention to detail.
  • Fluency in professional English.
  • Strong autonomy and knowledge of 5-star hospitality standards.
  • Basic revenue management skills.
