The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function is a critical component of the Risk and Compliance organisation, responsible for establishing and maintaining the company's overall risk management and risk governance framework.
The team's primary objective is to ensure that risk management activities are conducted in a manner compliant with regulatory requirements and expectations.
Key responsibilities include aggregating and reporting on key risk management and oversight activities to the Senior Management and Risk Committees.
The outcome of these efforts is consumed for Risk Management Framework and strategic processes like Risk Appetite, SREP, ICAAP/ILAAP, Stress Test, and Regulatory Disclosures.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and drive critical reviews and challenges of ICAAP deliverables as a 2LoD opinion on governance, capital adequacy, capital planning, and capital stress testing scenarios.
- Participate in the development of the stress testing framework, ensuring consistency with ICAAP & ILAAP frameworks.
- Challenge assumptions and decisions relating to Stress Test scenarios, ensuring sound capital and liquidity management.
- Coordinate the annual update of Stress Testing Framework, including stress testing scenario development and reverse stress test scenarios.
- Participate in Annual and quarterly reporting for supervisory management.
- Draft and implement Capital and Stress Test framework and policies.
- Write propositions, 2LOD opinions, and synthesize notes for Senior Management and Regulators.
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in risk and capital management in the financial services industry, preferably in risk management or audit.
- Experience in Capital Management projects and analysis of new regulatory frameworks would be a plus.
- Understanding of risk management frameworks, including financial and non-financial risks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate reviews and convey complex risk assessments to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI).
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field.
