Job Summary

This highly skilled sales professional is responsible for acquiring new business, retaining and cultivating existing customers in a defined geographic territory. They utilize internal and external resources to learn about customers' businesses, identify supply chain risks, and proactively contact customers to position and integrate UPS's digital portfolio of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify sales opportunities to retain/grow existing customers and uncover new prospective customers.
  • Develop advanced sales strategies to target new business, grow existing account revenue, and improve margin performance.
  • Conduct highly skilled outbound sales calls in a defined geographic territory.
  • Build strategic partnerships with customers by responding to their questions, complaints, and inquiries, and acting as their advocate in resolving service issues.
  • Collaborate with customer-facing groups within UPS to develop strategies and execute on initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, or International Equivalent.
  • Valid Property & Casualty Insurance License or International Equivalent.
  • 3+ years' previous sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supply chain or insurance industry knowledge.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to travel within the country.
