Job Description

The Senior Product Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for our products portfolio. This key position requires effective communication of the value proposition to diverse customer segments.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Product Management Team, bridging the gap between product development and the market. They will translate complex technical features into clear, compelling benefits for our target audience.

This role involves shaping product messaging, conducting competitive analysis, and supporting sales teams with tailored marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and refine product messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the value and differentiation of our Crystal Digital PCR products in the four areas of focus (Cell and Gene Therapy, Oncology, Microbiology, and Applied Testing).
  • Craft messaging for each segment and collaborate with the campaign manager and designers to deliver targeted content.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Monitor market trends and evolutions, identifying emerging areas of focus and conducting competitor analysis.
  • Leverage real-world success stories to build credibility and showcase the impact of our tools in the four areas of focus.
  • Participate in the development of the yearly marketing plan.
  • Work closely with R&D, sales, and product management to drive product success.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD in molecular biology, with a strong background in life sciences or biotechnology.
  • Knowledge of PCR applications is a plus.
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, with a strong background in life sciences or biotechnology.
  • Proven success in launching and marketing technical products, particularly tools or instruments for life science research.
  • Ability to think strategically about market positioning while executing marketing programs at a detailed level.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Storytelling, bold, flexible, team spirit.
  • English speaker.
  • French is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with different professionals in an international team environment and on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
