Job Overview

The successful candidate will take charge of crafting the technical framework for various critical areas, including:

  • Development of foundational mathematical services.
  • Processing of GNSS measurements.
  • Validation of output data from the EGNOS prediction system.
  • Assessment of messages generated by the EGNOS prediction system.
  • Identification and activation of barriers.
  • Creation of input and output datasets for the prediction chain.

Responsibilities

  • Hold functional and technical leadership over the project team focused on navigation initiatives.
  • Oversee the technical progression of the product throughout all project stages: requirements gathering, design, development, integration, and validation (with shared responsibility alongside the IVQ manager).
  • Ensure that all developments align with thematic specifications, acting as the primary technical liaison both internally and with clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development within the navigation sector.
  • Expertise in navigation principles, GNSS systems, SBAS systems, and precise positioning techniques.
  • Understanding of functional validation principles for space mechanics software.
  • Familiarity with real-time processing and aeronautical standards is advantageous.
  • Ability to gather and analyze client requirements effectively.
  • Experience in coordinating technical teams, including task delegation and progress tracking.
  • Accountability for reporting to the Project Manager.
  • Proficient in coding, development, and testing processes.
  • Experience in integration, verification, and validation tasks.
  • Development experience in C programming language.
