Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Country Manager to lead our strategic growth in France. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a market growth strategy that aligns with our EU growth expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Europe to create and implement the annual growth strategy.
  • Provide regular updates on strategic performance to the Head of EU Sales and the Leadership Team.
  • Oversee seasonal product forecasting and establish and monitor annual budgets in line with overall financial plans.
  • Lead and inspire a dynamic team to drive sales and create market growth strategies.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities with a strategic mindset.
  • Plan and execute seasonal launch events within France.
  • Ensure supply decisions for new accounts align with the brand's luxury image.
  • Support and manage your team to maintain clear communication and effective teamwork.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure timely and accurate order processing and customer communication.
  • Coordinate with credit control on financial matters and liaise with the logistics team to guarantee accurate and efficient order deliveries.
  • Conduct regular meetings to discuss reports and market intelligence.
  • Ensure our presence in distribution points that reflect our premium positioning.
  • Work collaboratively with teams in the UK, ROW, USA, and CN to share best practices.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product development or improvement.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and marketing developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Prior senior-level experience leading an account management team.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Confident public speaker capable of leading meetings with senior teams.
  • Proven experience managing small to medium-sized teams.
  • Demonstrated success in growing the French market and developing strategic market entry plans.
  • Proficient in creating and executing market growth strategies.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, strategic, and able to influence across all areas of the business and management levels.
  • Experience within a luxury brand to understand premium positioning is highly desirable.
  • Passionate about our brand and products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused approach.
  • Experience with P&L management and tracking project budgets is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage accounts with a clear understanding of the wider business context, ensuring effective internal communication.
