Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Mexico and the USA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive growth and expansion in the animal feed market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Intelligence: Collect and analyze market information, including competition, potential clients, and regulatory developments.
  • Client Development and Retention: Prospect and develop a portfolio of clients in the animal feed sector, including integrators, feed millers, and premix makers. Build strong relationships with customers through regular commercial visits and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Commercial Contract Management: Draft and negotiate commercial contracts to optimize results, including prices, margins, volumes, and market share. Ensure timely processing of client orders, logistics, and payments.
  • Financial Management: Manage the profit and loss (P&L) for your area and provide technical advice and personalized support to clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Business or Agriculture/Animal Nutrition.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales of commodities or agri/agro products, preferably in the animal feed industry.
  • Skills: Results-driven, entrepreneurial spirit, open-minded, team-oriented, and dynamic personality with excellent negotiating and communication skills.
  • Language: Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Travel: Frequent business travel required (50% of the time).
