About The Role:
The Sales Development Representative is a key actor of the lead generation process of Technip Energies, creating leads for the digital business organization. The Sales Development Representative will use outbound sales approaches, such as calling and social selling. The Sales Development Representative will be part of the sales enablement team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a self-starter attitude while contributing to outreach strategies for new lead generation methods coordinated by the sales enablement manager.
- Anticipate needs by conducting market research to identify new leads aligned with strategic campaigns defined by the sales enablement manager.
- Support the digital business organization on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts.
- Understand the digital business value proposition and solutions, and define prospect engagement rules and scenarios per campaign.
- Monitor and attend meetings with prospects, handling introductions and follow-up with the business development team.
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward.
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings.
- Collaborate with the business development team to animate weekly lead update meetings.
About You:
- Flawless English communication skills, both written and oral, with extensive public speaking experience. Additional French and Spanish communication skills are a must.
- Working knowledge of the energy digital solutions market and the ability to learn new solutions and market business challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day.
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects.
- Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications, while keeping track of dead-end leads.
- Have experience managing lead creation.
- Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment.
- Love working using complex market research and focusing on continued learning and improvement.
- Thorough understanding of commercial awareness to successfully establish rapport with prospects.
- Bachelor's degree in business.
- Motivated new graduates are welcome, but 3 years of successful SDR experience is a must.
