About the Role
ADMR is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Care Assistant to join our team. As a Social Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their daily lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid individuals with essential daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility assistance.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, helping them maintain social connections and engage in activities they enjoy.
- Assist with household chores, laundry, and other domestic tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in an individual's condition, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.
Requirements
- Diploma in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a care setting, preferably with individuals with similar needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of individuals.
