ENGIE is embarking on a major transformation program, GET, to drive the energy transition and industrialize the company. As a key player in this initiative, we are seeking a seasoned SAP Technical Release Manager to lead the technical release management for the entire program.

The GET program aims to deliver a future-proof business and IT core model with a central platform. The functional context of the program covers a set of functional areas, including accounting, controlling, and procurement, with a focus on innovation and best-in-class processes.

The Technical Release Manager will be responsible for managing the GET landscape, including SAP environments, client strategy, and technical and functional scale-up needs. This role will also contribute to the overall release calendar management, supervise transport management for core SAP components, and monitor the qualitative execution of transport requests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP technico-functional structures, SAP Solman, and SAP Cloud ALM. Experience in managing a composite SAP landscape, including S/4 Hana, SAP Ariba, and SAP BTP, is also essential. Leadership, project management, and team coordination skills are required to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the GET landscape, including SAP environments, client strategy, and technical and functional scale-up needs.
  • Contribute to the overall release calendar management.
  • Supervise transport management for core SAP components.
  • Monitor the qualitative execution of transport requests.
  • Define and implement industrialized procedures for refresh management.
  • Contribute to income management and define adequate documents and checklists.
  • Bring strong expertise on SAP technico-functional structures.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP technico-functional structures, SAP Solman, and SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Experience in managing a composite SAP landscape, including S/4 Hana, SAP Ariba, and SAP BTP.
  • Leadership, project management, and team coordination skills.
  • Fluent English (oral and written).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Team spirit.
