The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Antitrust & Compliance Counsel (M/F) to join our Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic antitrust advice and counsel on all aspects of antitrust law, including merger control and foreign investment filings in the framework of M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Antitrust Advice and Counsel: Provide strategic antitrust advice and counsel on all aspects of antitrust law, including merger control and foreign investment filings in the framework of M&A transactions.
- Compliance Program Development: Develop and implement a Roquette Group-wide compliance program, including policies and processes to support and drive a culture of ethics and integrity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other legal teams, strategy, sales, purchase, finance, audit, and other functions to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Training and Awareness: Create training and communication content to advertise competition law rules to most exposed functions and support the Group's anti-corruption and anti-bribery program.
- Reporting and KPIs: Participate in planning, execution, and reporting processes of compliance reviews and build out essential reports and KPIs.
- Education: Hold a Master's Degree (Bac+5) in Competition Law / Economic law / International law / LLM / Business school.
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience specialized in antitrust and competition law, preferably with experience in private practice.
- Language: English is a must, native English speaker preferred. French is a plus and other languages are always beneficial.
- Skills: Autonomous, rigorous, display intellectual curiosity, team spirit, and initiative. Good communication and adaptability skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
