LISI Group has established itself as a global leader in the design and manufacturing of assembly solutions for various industries.

Our subsidiary, LISI AEROSPACE, a premier aerospace supplier specializing in the production of fastening components and structural parts, is seeking a Sales Forecast Specialist on a fixed-term contract.

Role Overview

Within the LISI Aerospace Logistics Division, the demand management team is looking for a Sales Forecast Specialist to cover for a team member on maternity leave.

The Sales Forecast Specialist will analyze customer forecasts and enhance their accuracy to provide stabilized and reliable demand information for each product line. In the absence of customer forecasts or if the provided forecasts are deemed inaccurate, the specialist will generate their own forecasts and assess their reliability. This role serves as the key reference for the demand aspect of the Industrial and Commercial Plan (PIC).

Collaboration with operations is essential to validate the relevance of the information provided at the product line level.

The specialist ensures that demand forecasts enable factories to calculate supply forecasts, manages forecasts for suppliers (raw materials, components, and subcontractors), and evaluates the accuracy of these forecasts.

Participation in IT projects related to demand management is expected, along with proposing solutions to enhance forecast reliability for both factories and suppliers. The specialist will also engage in IT projects from the needs assessment phase to deployment with end users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate customer-provided forecasts
  • Provide visibility to factories: create and ensure the reliability of forecasts
  • Manage forecasts for finished products
  • Participate in inter-factory transfer management
  • Support the development and evolution of business applications in collaboration with relevant IT entities: specification, testing, deployment
  • Drive continuous process improvement and implement new tools
Candidate Profile

We believe you will thrive in this position if:

  • You hold a degree from an engineering school or a Master's degree specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Sales Forecast Specialist, preferably in an industrial setting. (Internships accepted)
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You possess strong knowledge of planning and demand management software, particularly Tableau Software.
  • You have project management skills and can collaborate with IT teams for business application development.
  • You are proficient in IT tools, especially Excel and queries.
  • You have a solid understanding of purchasing and logistics.
