Sales Role Summary:

The Sales Professional at GTT Communications, Inc. is responsible for finding new customers, understanding their needs, and closing deals. This includes developing new business within assigned regions or industries, gathering data on marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing. The ideal candidate will be able to present products or services to stakeholders, answer customer questions, and address their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scheduling promotional work and tracking sales activities;
• Quoting prices, preparing proposals, and providing information regarding terms and delivery;
• Negotiating contracts;

Requirements:

The Sales Professional must be able to prospect new business, set and close appointments with key decision-makers, service existing business, and develop strong client relationships. They must also be able to penetrate existing companies deeper to understand pain points and sniff out further opportunities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work with considerable marketing support to drive further prospecting initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field;
• 3+ years of sales experience in a similar industry;
• Experience working with considerable marketing support to drive further prospecting initiatives;
• Strong understanding of marketing trends, competitive products, and pricing;
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time;
• Fluency in multiple languages;
