About the Position
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist for Intuitive Surgical to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for our network systems and software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network connectivity problems, user access, and general software application support
- Support pre and post-sales activities as a technical subject matter expert, including conference calls with C-level executives, DPO, Net/Sec Engineers, Legal, and Clinical
- Work closely with Product Support and Engineering to increase the products' effectiveness, usability, and serviceability
- Gain a solid understanding of Intuitive products, services, and company policies, processes, and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or 5+ years equivalent experience acceptable working in a customer support center environment, preferably in the medical device industry
- Knowledge of network operations, configuration, and troubleshooting TCP/IP, Router skills, VLANs, VPN technology, Firewall skills, and NAT/PAT address translation
- Familiar with cybersecurity best practices and data privacy and protection regulations, such as GDPR
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, with the ability to discuss technical information with a wide range of audiences
