Job Title
Product Marketing Principal Specialist - Airport & Airline Operations (AAO)Role Overview:
As part of the AAO division (Airport and Airline Operations), the DMX PMM will be integrated into the DMX (Delivery of the Future) Product Marketing team. This position has been established to enhance the expanding operations of AAO and the advancement of DMX. The DMX PMM will report directly to the Product Marketing Lead and will work closely with the DMX PLC Core team (including Product Management, Engineering, Finance, etc.). The DMX PMM will engage in Product Marketing initiatives throughout the Product Lifecycle (PLC) process.
Key Responsibilities:
Market and Customer Insights:
- Analyze market dynamics including trends, regulations, and total addressable market (TAM).
- Evaluate the competitive landscape and its potential impact on product strategy.
- Propose effective messaging along with essential features and functionalities.
- Identify go-to-market strategies, assess market risks, and evaluate market viability.
- Communicate market requirements to Product Managers, focusing on solutions, features, value propositions, messaging, and channels.
Product Strategy Development:
- Contribute to the overarching strategy and vision, including high-level requirements and initial journey mapping.
- Oversee strategic pricing, billing model assessments, and business case development in collaboration with Product Managers.
Customer Engagement:
- Develop and maintain user personas while collecting customer feedback.
- Assess the implications of product roadmap changes on customer value propositions and messaging.
- Assist the Product Manager with customer feedback, journey mapping, feature lists, and pilot definitions.
Performance Measurement and Scaling:
- Develop external-facing product features and use case descriptions.
- Create market-facing messaging that aligns with value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead communication and training initiatives for the sales organization.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Extensive experience (6-7 years) in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Strategy, or Strategic Marketing, preferably within the IT sector.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Ability to simplify complex information for clear understanding.
- Results-driven with a problem-solving approach.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the entire Product Marketing process.
- Adaptable and flexible, capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with the Airline and/or Airport industry and the Amadeus internal network is a significant advantage.
