Principal Specialist in Product Management
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to assume a pivotal role within the Offer domain, tasked with defining comprehensive solutions for Revenue Management or Dynamic Pricing within the Offer portfolio. The Product Manager will engage with fellow PMs in related sectors, Product Marketing Managers, Engineers, and Commercial teams to develop a cohesive solution strategy.
In this capacity, the individual will formulate a detailed solution strategy and positioning framework to address the airline industry's needs for managing their offerings, which encompasses:
- Analyzing business and market dynamics
- Defining both functional and non-functional requirements
- Integrating constraints and considerations relevant to Airlines and the Amadeus distribution ecosystem
- Monitoring competitive landscape, market trends, and industry stakeholders (e.g., IATA, ATPCo)
The individual will be accountable for crafting viable and sustainable solutions and establishing a transition roadmap from the current state to the desired future state by:
• Collaborating with a diverse array of internal stakeholders across the business unit, R&D, Sales, and Pre-sales, as well as airline clients to identify and articulate market and business requirements,
• Defining the Product Vision, Roadmap, and transition strategy necessary to fulfill these requirements,
• Coordinating with multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver value effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver impactful presentations to prospective clients, utilizing industry expertise to showcase the value of your Offer products.
- Support clients from initial proof of concept through to implementation, ensuring they recognize the business value and achieve successful adoption of the solution.
- Collaborate with various Product Managers to clearly communicate the vision and strategy, translating it into a practical plan that ensures Amadeus provides a top-tier Offer Management Solution, including Offer Creation (inventory, ancillary services, interline, etc.), Pricing, and Offer Optimization.
- Partner with the broader Product Management and Engineering teams to guarantee timely delivery of customer-centric enhancements across the solution scope, considering impacts on touchpoints, data, revenue accounting, and more.
- Develop a go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Product Marketing Management, Go-to-market, and account teams.
- Engage in industry working groups, such as IATA, when necessary, advocating for industry transformation that aligns with Amadeus' long-term goals and promotes sustainable growth for airlines.
Build a robust sales pipeline by collaborating with sales, pre-sales, and account teams to identify target customers and empower them to convey resonant messages.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in Product and Project Management.
- Expertise in Revenue Management or Dynamic Pricing.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of product strategy.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management, business requirements analysis, and agile methodologies.
- Interest in the Airline Industry (IATA, ATPCo).
- Proficient in English.
