Position Overview:
As a key member of the Innovation and Development team, the Active Ingredients and Innovations Specialist will play a crucial role in selecting and evaluating new active ingredients, managing product efficacy testing, and ensuring the effectiveness of our brand's offerings in skincare, haircare, and makeup.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Marketing and Formula Development teams to assess briefs, ensuring both technical and financial feasibility while advising on product performance.
- Work closely with Purchasing to achieve cost and margin objectives.
- Provide scientific support for marketing concepts, substantiating claims for active ingredients.
- Identify effective molecules, evaluate technical documentation, and conduct tests to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and assist Marketing in differentiating products through compelling storytelling.
- Manage product claims to ensure business impact and collaborate with Regulatory to define testing protocols.
- Oversee ingredient samples, timelines, and development status, while identifying risk mitigation strategies and monitoring testing budgets.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis on emerging actives and testing methodologies.
- Support sustainability initiatives and innovation programs while fostering strong relationships with vendors for new materials.

The successful candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, knowledge of skin physiology, and project management skills, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across various internal and external teams.
