Role Overview: The primary responsibility of the Technical Support Team Leader is to deliver exceptional technical assistance to Field Service Engineers and clients for Atlas Copco Airpower products. This role is vital in ensuring system integrity, operational uptime, and product availability, ultimately enhancing customer productivity and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intricate customer support operations, which include installation, modifications, repairs, and preventive maintenance of Atlas Copco Vacuum and Abatement systems to guarantee optimal functionality.
- Lead and contribute to ongoing and new initiatives such as energy efficiency programs and business transformation projects.
- Serve as a liaison between Field and Onsite engineers and the Regional Technical Support team, facilitating effective use of the case management system.
- Offer technical guidance and support to field and onsite service engineers for system recovery, new installations, upgrades, corrective maintenance escalations, training, documentation, and best practices.
- Collect and analyze data from customer tools on-site or via internal monitoring platforms, presenting findings in internal and customer meetings to recommend subsequent actions.
- Utilize advanced technical problem-solving techniques and statistical methods to address complex issues.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both French and English.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic techniques across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
- Familiarity with Design of Experiment methodologies.
- Operational analysis skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and uncover improvement opportunities.
- Project management capabilities to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
