• Take ultimate responsibility for the monthly management accounts, including P&L, BS, and Cashflow.
• Prepare and review the monthly accounts commentary with support from the analysts.
• Lead the annual audit in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
• Manage the accounting and FP&A team, upholding Lush's cultural values and promoting an environment of support, development, and leadership that aligns with our company ethos.
• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the finance discipline. Manage the local cash-flow and report into the Group Treasurer as required.
• Help to develop the leadership team's understanding of key financial data.
• Support the business's operation strategies and investment options with a focus on ROI.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
• Fluent in English;
• Strong knowledge of French GAAP;
• Understanding of French tax legislation preferred;
• Proficiency in financial software (Sage and Workday - Adaptive) and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Experience leading audit;
• Provide accurate analysis and translation of key financial data;
• Evaluate commercial data effectively and communicate articulately to non-financial stakeholders.
