Position Overview:
The Departement des Hauts-de-Seine is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Visitor Services Coordinator. This role is essential in ensuring that all guests receive a warm welcome and comprehensive information about our cultural offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, providing them with essential information regarding exhibitions and events.
- Oversee the management of bookings and ticketing operations.
- Handle financial transactions with accuracy and ensure daily sales reconciliation.
- Support security measures by conducting visitor counts and assisting with safety protocols.
- Maintain and update ticketing systems, ensuring accurate visitor statistics are recorded.
- Collaborate with security personnel to facilitate effective monitoring of exhibitions.
- Provide assistance in monitoring exhibition spaces as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members to enhance the overall visitor experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and engage positively with the public.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in cultural institutions or similar environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in French is essential; proficiency in English is advantageous.
- Familiarity with office and ticketing software.
- A genuine interest in cultural heritage and museum operations.
- Ability to foster positive interactions with visitors and adapt to various situations.
- Demonstrated punctuality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of discretion.
- Well-presented with a proactive approach to tasks.
