Position Overview
Reporting to the Spa Operations Manager, the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Delivering consistently professional, engaging, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow team members
- Embodying Accor's core values in all interactions
- Ensuring an outstanding guest experience by supervising, motivating, and leading the therapist team
- Facilitating training on product knowledge and treatment protocols to enhance guest satisfaction
- Assessing treatment standards to ensure compliance and excellence
- Conducting regular briefings and departmental meetings to foster a positive environment
- Managing inventory of skincare products and consumables while adhering to budgetary guidelines
- Driving sales through effective recommendations and upselling of services
- Preparing and presenting monthly performance reports for therapists
- Conducting timely performance evaluations for team members
- Practicing visible leadership by maintaining accessibility and overseeing facility cleanliness
- Upholding health department standards through regular inspections of treatment areas
- Addressing guest concerns promptly and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation
- Acting as the manager on duty in the absence of the Assistant Spa Manager
- Providing exceptional skincare treatments, including various massage modalities and body treatments
- Performing nail services and maintaining a loyal clientele
- Willingness to offer services in various settings
- Adhering to all corporate and departmental policies and procedures
- Participating in hotel committees and special projects as needed
- Completing additional duties as assigned
- A diploma in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, or an Esthetician license is required
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury spa environment is preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous
- Strong focus on guest needs with a calm and courteous demeanor
- Proven ability to coach teams towards achieving performance goals
- Energetic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working cohesively in a diverse, multicultural team
- Strong work ethic with reliability and flexibility to work extended hours
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shifts
- Medium visual effort
- Ability to work in a busy atmosphere
