Position Overview

Katoen Natie is seeking a dedicated Key Account Manager to enhance our operations and support our rapidly expanding business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the legal compliance of all logistics activities undertaken for clients.
  • Establish strong rapport with customers to foster loyalty and retention.
  • Act as the primary source of customer and market insights for your assigned accounts.
  • Regularly assess and report on the profitability of client accounts.

Additional Duties:

  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations by both the client and the organization.
  • Negotiate contract renewals and additional services as required.
  • Identify the critical needs of clients and develop an annual key account strategy to provide outstanding service.
  • Conduct annual customer satisfaction surveys and implement action plans based on feedback.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients to stay attuned to their evolving preferences.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare annual budgets and provide financial performance updates in management reports.
  • Hold full P&L accountability for assigned accounts.

Candidate Profile:

  • • Key Attributes: Committed, Sociable, Analytical, Strategic Thinker, Versatile
  • • Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics or equivalent experience
  • • Willingness to travel as needed
  • • Proficient in English and French, with additional languages considered an asset
  • • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • • Basic negotiation and financial analysis capabilities

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a relevant role
