We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Project Buyer to join our team at Gerflor. As a key member of our Procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing strategic projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, improve quality, and enhance supplier relationships.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with Gerflor's procurement policies.
  • Category Management: Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders on project progress, supplier performance, and procurement metrics.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic projects and supplier management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers and stakeholders.
