This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory requirements, and the ability to assess potential product opportunities. You will work closely with senior management to define in-licensing needs, conceptualize and implement strategies for in-licensing projects, and review and analyze developers/suppliers and offers/costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior management to define in-licensing needs.
  • Conceptualize, design, develop, negotiate, and implement strategies for in-licensing projects.
  • Review, analyze, and benchmark developers/suppliers and offers/costs.
  • Identify and finalize in-licensing partners/suppliers/developers.
  • Initiate, monitor, and assess patent reports.
  • Set up and manage in-licensing databases.
  • Terminate, extend, or renegotiate existing in-licensing agreements.
  • Negotiate licensing and supply agreements/contracts.
  • Work closely with the legal team to finalize agreements.
  • Create and improve internal processes.
  • Assist with market access options and commercial strategy.
  • Take responsibility for ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business-related field.
  • Several years of experience in business development, licensing, or related roles in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Established relationships with European dossier suppliers and developers.
  • Solid understanding of drug development processes, regulatory requirements, and intellectual property.
  • Proven track record of identifying and securing strategic partnerships or licensing deals.
  • Strong analytical skills and negotiation skills.
