Sector: FINANCIAL SUPPORT FUNCTIONS
Role Overview: The General Accountant oversees all accounting functions at Limagrain Europe that do not pertain to supplier and customer transactions, ensuring adherence to accounting, tax, and legal regulations. Key responsibilities include conducting monthly reconciliations of intercompany accounts and managing periodic VAT and tax submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute monthly reconciliations between intercompany accounts
- Calculate, document, and validate monthly currency conversions during closing
- Prepare and submit tax declarations
- Carry out general accounting duties in collaboration with the team or independently, in accordance with accounting and tax regulations
- Address inquiries during tax audits
- Engage in the integration of regulatory updates into accounting tools alongside the manager and modify processes as needed
- Contribute to periodic reporting and monthly account assessments
- Assist with tasks required for both internal and external audits
- Propose enhancements for process efficiency and ongoing improvement of work organization
Qualifications: A minimum of a Bac+2 degree (DCG, BTS, etc.) in accounting, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an international setting. Proficient in accounting software and IT tools. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of teamwork.

Recruitment Process:
Upon selection of your CV, you will undergo a phone interview followed by two interviews: one with the hiring manager and another with the HR Manager overseeing the position.
