Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our bakery team as a Tamayyaz– Commis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food items, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and providing exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation
- Prepare and service all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
- Prepares, measures, mixes, kneads, and shapes dough or batter for all baking ingredients and bakes bread, rolls, breakfast pastries.
- Customer Service
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues.
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotions.
- Housekeeping and Maintenance
- Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Promote teamwork and morale within the kitchen and with all other departments.
- Ability to work a flexible roster depending on departmental needs.
Requirements
- Tamayyaz Program is for Saudi Nationals Only.
- Open to candidates with little to no work experience, including fresh graduates and those with up to 6 months of relevant work experience.
- Basic English skills are a must.
- Strong passion for the Hospitality Field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
