What is the Tamayyaz Program?
The Tamayyaz Program is a Nationalization Development initiative designed to empower Saudi talents with essential skills and knowledge for various roles in the hospitality sector. This program combines classroom education with practical on-the-job training within a structured timeframe.
Hotel Overview: Makkah Clock Royal Tower, a Fairmont Hotel, is strategically located near the Masjid Al Haram and the Holy Ka'aba. This impressive 76-story establishment, among the tallest in the world, serves as the centerpiece of the Abraj Al Bait Complex, part of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project, symbolizing exceptional hospitality in the Holy City. The hotel features 1618 guest rooms and suites, each thoughtfully designed with luxurious amenities and five-star services to ensure a tranquil and reflective experience for guests.
Job Responsibilities- Deliver consistently professional, friendly, and proactive service to guests while collaborating with colleagues.
- Prepare and serve all food items for a la carte and buffet menus according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain proper product rotation in all chillers to minimize waste and spoilage.
- Measure, mix, knead, and shape dough or batter, preparing all baking ingredients and baking bread, rolls, and pastries.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotions.
- Conduct quality tests on all preparations before they leave the bakery to ensure the highest standards are met.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Adhere to kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols when handling food and beverages.
- Minimize food waste through proper rotation, labeling, and storage practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- The Tamayyaz Program is exclusively for Saudi Nationals.
- Open to candidates with little to no work experience, including recent graduates and those with up to 6 months of relevant experience.
- Basic English proficiency is required.
- A strong passion for the hospitality industry is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to assisting colleagues is important.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on departmental needs is required.
- Ability to maintain focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous is crucial.
