AI Workload Benchmarking Engineer Intern

SiPearl is a leading European company in supercomputing and AI inference, founded in 2019 with the support of the European Union. Our mission is to develop high-performance, low-power microprocessors dedicated to supercomputing and AI inference.
We are working in close collaboration with our 30 partners from the European Processor Initiative (EPI) consortium, leading names from the scientific community, supercomputing centers, and industry. Our team employs over 190 people across France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.

About the RoleIn this role, you will work closely with our Software Application Manager, Etienne Renault, to evaluate the maturity of the Software stack for AI Benchmark (MLperf or others). You will test, optimize various frameworks, and perform comparative studies of performances on aarch64 and x86.
You will also perform performance predictions for future generations of SiPearl Chips. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI workload benchmarking and optimization.
RequirementsWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in AI and software development. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of C/C++, Python, and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Experience with parallelization, knowledge of AI models, and familiarity with ARM architecture are desirable. Fluency in English is a prerequisite for success in this role, as effective communication is essential for collaboration and ensuring the seamless transfer of responsibilities.
Benefits and ConditionsWe offer a competitive internship agreement, including meal vouchers (60% covered by SiPearl), health insurance (70% covered by SiPearl), and 3 days paid leave during your internship. Our work model is on-site, and the duration of the internship is from 4 to 6 months.
