Job Title: Regional Sustainability Officer

Michelin is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sustainability Officer to join our team. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability strategy and initiatives in the E2A region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the regional sustainability plan, aligning with Michelin's global sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute sustainability initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, to promote Michelin's sustainability mission and values.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the regional leadership team on sustainability-related matters, including risk management and opportunity identification.
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and reporting on sustainability performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to address them.
  • Represent Michelin in external forums and events, promoting our sustainability leadership and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sustainability, business administration, or government affairs, with a strong track record of driving sustainability initiatives and achieving results.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sustainability strategies, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address sustainability-related risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate sustainability information to diverse audiences.
